Maternity and newborn photography sessions are some of my favorites to focus on. It’s such an exciting time in peoples lives and I’m just honored when I get picked to be the photographer because I love every minute of it!!!
Newborn sessions are on a whole other level though. The newborn baby snuggles are heartwarming and I have to say that getting to chit chat with the parents, congratulate them and see how they are reacting to their new life is so fun. Parents are always excited about my arrival because it means they get to show off their pride and joy and this family was no different except they had the cutest little dog around. Aren’t they the most beautiful family of four you’ve ever seen!
They wanted composites and artistic shots which I LOVE to do. The first one was of him with a lions hat because his sign is a leo, cute right?!
Of course, nothing will say pride like holding your baby up for the world to see. I was feeling the black and white vibes on this one but I would do an entire session in black & white if my clients let me. I love the depth of shadows that black and white images can show.
OK enough about me and color choices. this one is one of my favorites! He just looks so peaceful.
It makes me so happy to be a tiny little part of introducing these little babies into this world.
Welcome Arav, not only do you have the coolest name around but a set of parents (and dog) to match. Stay sweet, sweet pea.
