3. The Ford Piquette Avenue Plant, Detroit

The Ford Piquette Avenue Plant, was organized in 2000 as a nonprofit organization for the purpose of preserving the Plant and keeping it from being demolished. They are now holding limited pop-up wedding ceremonies and it’s amazing. It’s definitely a unique wedding space that will leave your guests talking.

4. The Treasury,Pontiac, MI

Step into a 1921 Smith, Hinchman, and Grylls, 8-story historical building. Iconic columns, Palladian windows flanked with pilasters, a 35’ coffered gold-leaf ceiling, and marble details will provide pure inspiration for you to create a perfectly composed, personalized event. The Treasury offers a historical ambiance combined with sophisticated charm and impeccable architectural details.

I love watching guests walking around and pointing in awe at the architectural details of this space during cocktail hour. It’s hard not to. This venue is a treat and a hidden gem. What’s even better is that you can rent a handful of lofts to stay in, the bridal suite is huge and beautiful AND you can step right outside the building and get some beautiful city shots with your bridal party.

There are roughly four acres of Heritage Gardens from which you can enjoy during your wedding or event as well as a beautiful converted Greenhouse, aptly referred to as the “Azalea House”. 

We can accommodate up to 100 guests for Wedding Ceremonies and events in the Azalea House. We are proud to offer amenities for your event such as tables, chairs, a portable dance floor and changing area in our Wedding Suite. We also have relationships with fabulous local vendors to help your dream event come to life.

5. The Fisher Building, Detroit

For breathtaking and memorable events, the Fisher Building has no equal. From an intimate gathering to a grand celebration, the Fisher Building can set the stage for your next event. The building’s grand arcade and other more intimate venues are available for private and public events.

6. The Inn at St. Johns, Plymouth, MI

The Inn at St. Johns features stately Romanesque architecture, beautifully renovated to reflect its heritage; two regal ballrooms showcasing 25-foot ceilings with hand-painted inlays; a breathtaking two-story Atrium room; and twenty-two distinct meeting rooms, each with exterior windows for a bright, comfortable setting.

7. The State Savings Bank, Detroit, MI

The Stunning State Savings Bank, built in 1900, was designated a Michigan State Historic Site and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Designed by internationally renowned architects McKim, Mead & White, this neoclassical structure is in the Beaux Arts-style. It features a white marble interior with carved Roman arched colonnades and bronze grillwork.

9. Sheppherd’s Hollow, Clarkston, MI 

 Shepherd’s Hollow offers a truly unique setting; a glass house nestled in the middle of our pine forest. The venue is highlighted by elegant décor and a panoramic view of the lake and golf course.

Upon arrival, your guests will be ushered into our gorgeous fountain area, perfect for your wedding ceremony. Get married amidst the breathtaking pine forest. 

In addition to the venue, our wraparound veranda provides wonderful outdoor space for guests to truly enjoy our natural setting. Your guests will be impressed with not only the views but also the exceptional food and beverage services.
