As a photographer in the Ann Arbor area, I get to capture some pretty big moments in peoples lives. All these moments come with their own amazing energy and college graduation is one of my favorites. While walking through the University of Michigan campus last week I found glitter covered grounds, Champagne corks and this lovely lady.
She hired me to photograph one of the most important moments in her life. Not just graduating from college, but doing so from one of the best Universities in the country, maybe the world. The vibe on campus was infectious so we walked around and photographed here in some of her favorite spots.
I couldn’t get over how beautiful she looked in the camera but she’s super fun and down to earth too. Selfishly, I wanted to soak up all of that happiness of hers and I think I did a little but because you can tell she has enough happiness in her give some back out to the world.
At the end of our session and getting to hear all about her plans , I was just proud. What she did was difficult and now the world has yet another powerful woman making her mark in the professional world. She has a sweet gig lined up and they are lucky to have her. It seems to me like she has the world wrapped around her finger right now and there’s no better feeling than capturing that moment! Congratulations Tiana, the world is yours!
