If you’re looking for the best spring mini session or mother’s day gift , this is it!!! The Arboretum in Ann Arbor has become one of my favorite places in the METRO DETROIT MICHIGAN area to photograph in the spring. My favorite thing about it is that it’s in the middle of a busy city but you’d never suspect it from the outside. Standing in the middle of The Arb protects you from the buzz of the city, the hospital , the school.. life. It’s visually captivating but when the peonies are in bloom, IT’S STUNNING.
Once a year there’s thousands of peonies that bloom all at the same time, a sign that summer is close and that vibrant color is back. I’ve had the pleasure of taking pictures of 100’s of families, couples, and events at the arb. IT’S SUCH A TREAT.
You should definately take pictures here and you should definately hire me to do it. Here’s why:
- TIMING– Timing is super important with these sessions because they are only in bloom for a short period of time. I know excatly what that sweet spot is.
- It gets SUPER busy – People come from everywhere so the fields are super busy. I know exactly how to guide you there and pose you during so youre pictures will never show the 100’s of people there. I have 5 years of experience in this tricky place and it shows 🥰
- NO STRESS – Getting great photos can be stressful. I will take that on for you so you can just show up, have fun and enjoy the space. I will help you with wardrobe , share what colors look best there and pose you in a way that you look best.
- EDITING – The colors at the Arb during the Peony blooms are wild. There’s every hue of pink, red and purple. There’s shades of green and yellow and coral. Editing is really importand for a beautiful photograph. You can put your favorite filter on pics when posting to IG but I will edit in an artistic style that will look beautiful beyond this years filter trend. It’s professional editing and it matters to help your stay beautiful years and years from now.
- GORGEOUS Pictures – It’s to be expected but worth mentioning. You’ll get beautiful pictures.
I’m only offering minis on a a Friday & Saturday morning this year. Yes, A FRIDAY MORNING. That’s becasue weekends are CRAZY there. A weekday morning will be a better experience because it will be less stressful.
