If you know me, you know that I’ve always had a love affair with Detroit. I think it’s cool, beautiful and full of mystery but it pales in comparison to this gorgeous girl. Meet Abbey, class of 2019 high school senior, soon-to-be-graduate!!!!
As a senior photographer in the Metro Detroit area, I look at the city as one of the best locations for professional SENIOR PICTURES. So when Abbey and her mom agreed to my suggestions I was super excited because I knew it would be fun and unique.
Working with Abbey was all about simplicity, exploring and having fun. We hit a couple favorite spots in the city like the belt @ the Z Spot right in the heart of downtown Detroit. I love it there because the parking lot itself offers some amazing backdrops but the alley next to it is super fun!
I usually like to give direction but Abbey knew exactly what do do, she was so easy going and confident. She has a spirit that is hard to pinpoint. Strong, poised & beautiful with hints of female badassery, not to mention that her smile could light up a room.
The next stop on our adventure was Belle Isle for some walking, laughing, jumping-in-the-fountain AWESOMENESS!!! Yep, we jumped in the fountain & Abbey didn’t even skip a beat. I guess if they wanted to keep us out of it they would have left it on for us. C’est La Vie right?!
Senior pictures are supposed to be authentic & fun, in my humble opinion. The candid pictures are always my favorite but bring the family dog and my heart turns to mush.
I had so much fun on our session. Good luck in all you do Abbey, life only gets better from here and I have a feeling yours will be filled with amazing places, experiences and a little magic.
